Israel said late Tuesday evening that an attack killing four Israelis in the West Bank would not derail the plans to resume direct negotiations with the Palestinians, dpa reported.
An unidentified member of Premier Benjamin Netanyahu's staff was cited in the Israeli news site "ynet" as saying the talks would go ahead as planned.
However, the report cautioned that, as on such previous occasions, Israel would respond to the attack, indicating there would be some sort of Israeli military retaliation.
