The negotiations on appointing Avigdor Lieberman, chairman of the 'Israel is Our Home' party, as Israel's new defense minister have not been completed and will continue May 20, a source in the Israeli government told Trend May 19.
"The negotiations are planned to be finished till May 21," the source said, adding that great optimism is observed in this regard because the agreements were reached on the main points."
"If the final agreement is reached, Avigdor Lieberman will be announced Israel's new defense minister on the first day of the Knesset's work next week," the source said.
