( ForUm ) - President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko will not participate in the summit of CIS countries, which will take place on October 4- 5 in Dushanbe. Speaker of the Foreign Ministry Andriy Deshchytsa informed.
According to him, Foreign Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk will head the delegation at the summit.
Deshchytsa states that Yatsenyuk intends to hold negotiations with Russian president Vladimir Putin and to determine the date of visit of Ukrainian president Yushchenko to Russia.
As a reminder, the meeting of Yushchenko and Putin was planned to be held in September, but it was carried over till next time because of the early elections in Ukraine.
