( ForUm ) - The death toll in mine named after A. Zasyadko in Donetsk region comprised 90 miners as of 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
According to the press service of Donetsk regional administration, 88 bodies are already taken to the surface. 10 persons are still missing. 53 bodies of miners are identified. 28 are unidentified.
32 miners are hospitalized with heavy gas poisoning.
As a reminder, on November 18 at 3.11 a.m. gas explosion had happened at the coalmine named after A. Zasyadko in Donetsk region. The blast happened as a result of blast of aeromethane mixture in 14th conveyor drift while boring.
President Viktor Yushchenko declared November 20, 2007 as a national day of mourning in response to tragic accident in the Zasyadko mine.
