New Zealand win toss, bowl first against Bangladesh

( AFP ) - New Zealand won the toss and put Bangladesh into bat in the third and final one-day cricket international here Monday.

In the history of international cricket here the team that won the toss has always bowled first and won the match.

The wicket is hard, with a green top which should favour the early pace attack.

New Zealand have already won the series, taking the first two matches with ease and captain Daniel Vettori said they are looking for a comprehensive win here to complete the clean sweep.

The one change for New Zealand from the second match in the series sees pace bowler Michael Mason come in for the injured Mark Gillespie while Bangladesh have kept the same squad.

The match is due to start at 11:00am (2200 GMT Sunday).

New Zealand: Daniel Vettori (captain), Brendon McCullum, Jamie How, Peter Fulton, Scott Styris, Ross Taylor, Jacob Oram, Mathew Sinclair, Kyle Mills, Michael Mason, Chris Martin, Jeetan Patel (12th man).

Bangladesh: Mohammad Ashraful (captain), Tamim Iqbal, Zunaed Siddique, Aftab Ahmed, Shakib Al Hasan, Tushar Imran, Mushfiq Rahim, Farhad Reza, Mashrafe Mortaza, Abdur Razzak, Shahadat Hossain, Javed Omar (12th man).
