( dpa ) - Hundreds of Palestinians demonstrated in Gaza City Wednesday to protest the visit to Israel and the Palestinian Territories of US President George W Bush.

Supporters of different factions of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) took to the city's main streets chanting slogans denouncing the president and asking him to "stop being biased."

Several carried banners declaring Bush not welcome in the Palestinian Territories.

In the southern Gaza Strip city of Khan Younis, a previously- unknown organization calling itself the Army of the Nation vowed "to kill the criminal Bush and all the Crusaders."

A masked member of the group told a news conference "the visit of Bush to Palestine would not benefit Muslims and Palestinians.

Bush arrived at Ben Gurion Airport, near Tel Aviv, at noon (1000 GMT) Wednesday for a three-day visit which will see him hold separate talks with Israeli and Palestinian leaders.

The radical Islamic Jihad organization demonstrated in Gaza City against the visit Tuesday night, and the Islamic Hamas movement is planning to hold a protest in the city on Thursday, when Bush is to meet Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
