Ukrainian Border Service Evicts 20 Georgian and Pakistani Illegal Immigrants

Ukraine, Kiev, 22 January / Тrend corr Z. Novosvitski / The Ukrainian State Border Service evicted 15 Georgian and five Pakistani illegal immigrants from the country on 21 January.

The foreigners left the country by Kiev-Tbilisi and Kiev-Dubai flights from the Ukrainian Borispol international airport, the PR Department of the Ukrainian State Border Service reported. Previously, they were detained in the Transcarpathian region when attempting to pass into Slovakia. After adequate procedures, the foreigners were allowed to go back to their families and their flights were financed from the public budget of Ukraine.

In 2007, the Ukrainian State Border Service made 4,464 verdicts on the eviction of illegal foreigners, with 4,369 of them evicted voluntarily and 95 by force.
