Three dead in Indonesian plane crash

( dpa ) - A light aircraft crashed in east Kalimantan province on the Indonesian part of Broneo, killing all three people on board, local media reports said Sunday.

The Cassa 212-200 airplane, operated by an Indonesian private air chartered company Dirgantara Air Service, crashed in Malinau district during a flight from east Kalimantan district of Tarakan, state-run Antara news agency reported.

Rescue teams founded the destroyed plane in the jungle. All three crew members were killed on the spot.

It was not immediately known the cause of the crash and an investigation was underway, the reports said.
