( dpa )- Four robbers who held more than 30 people hostage for over 24 hours at a bank in Altagracia de Orituco , Venezuela, left the premises Tuesday in an ambulance, along with five hostages.
One of the hostages was driving the ambulance, which the authorities gave the attackers so that they could escape in an attempt to secure the hostages' release, Venezuelan media reported. The destination of the vehicle remained unknown.
