( dpa ) - Pakistan's caretaker Prime Minister Mohammadmian Soomro arrived in Sana'a on an official visit Friday for talks on military and trade cooperation.
Soomro told reporters upon arrival that the talks were aimed at "strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries, especially in trade and defence production."
He is scheduled to meet Yemeni Defence Minister Mohammad Nassir Ahmed Ali at the Republican Palace on Friday.
On Saturday, the Pakistani prime minister was scheduled to hold talks with his Yemeni counterpart Ali Mujawar and President Ali Abdullah Saleh.
At the conclusion of the two-day visit, Soomro is scheduled to attend a meeting with business executives.
