Barcelona announced on Friday evening that the wayward Brazilian will be out for around six weeks after tearing the abductor muscle in his right thigh in training.
Ironically, the idol-turned idle had only been back in training for two days, after a month out of action with a mysterious injury that the club doctors could not find evidence of.
Ronaldinho might not play again for Barca, given that he has become unpopular with the directors and fans because of rumours of unprofessional behaviour during his night life.
Chelsea, AC Milan and several other top European clubs are alleged to be interested in the 28-year-old forward, who has started only 13 Liga matches this season.
