Ukraine, Kiev, 10 April / Trend corr. Z.Novosvitski / The Supreme Rada (Ukrainian Parliament) has ratified a protocol on joining of Ukraine to the World Trade Organization (WTO) on 10 April.
Parliament commissioned the Cabinet to approve the plan of actions for adaptation of Ukrainian economy to WTO norms within a month.
The Ukrainian President Viktor Yushenko and Pskal Lami, WTO director general, signed a protocol on joining of Ukraine to WTO in Geneva on 5 February 2008.
Ukraine will become a full member of WTO on the 30th day of ratification.
