( dpa ) - The third goalkeeper of Colombian first division football team Deportes Tolima, William Arias, suffered from a mysterious paralysis in his legs after fainting several times during training last week.

Tolima doctor Carlos Nino said Wednesday that the keeper, 18, will be subjected to an MRI scan to determine whether he suffered brain damage. He was to be taken from club headquarters in Ibague to Colombian capital Bogota.

Nino explained that Arias was losing mobility in his legs by the day, and needed specialist care.
