Naomi Campbell Boycotts British Airways

(exposay.com) - After her arrest drama at the Heathrow airport, Naomi Campbell is firing back at British Airways saying she will boycott the company for treating her with disrespect.

The English supermodel has issued a statement addressing her April 3 arrest for allegedly assaulting an airport police officer and the treatment she received with the airline company. She claims that although BA banned her from flying with them, they retracted the ban after and "begged" her to do business with her again.

She tells the media at Rio de Janeiro where she is currently staying, "Someone from BA called me and asked that I return to fly with them, but this will not occur so early. They didn't find my bag - said it wasn't in the system - and there was a complete disrespect for the passengers."

"I am not speaking for myself. I am speaking for all those who have been disrespected."

Campbell had been reportedly banned from the airline after her arrest. Her spokeswoman tried to get BA to change their mind saying, "Naomi has been flying for nearly 30 years and has been a good customer. She hopes this can be resolved amicably."

However, a representative for BA says, "We have not confirmed or denied that any passenger has been banned."
