( dpa ) - A crowded bus went out of control and veered off a highway in central Bangladesh, killing at least 18 people and injuring 50 others Saturday, police and witnesses said.
The bus, carryig around 70 people, plunged down onto an adjacent railroad before turning over.
The accident happened in central Tangail district close to the site of another bus accident which had also left 18 dead three days ago.
The bus was travelling from the northern border town of Burungamari and was reportedly headed for the capital Dhaka with mostly construction workers aboard.
