Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney is writing a coffee table book about his beloved late wife Linda.
Paul, 65, will reportedly "share lots of intimate moments" about his life with Linda - who died of breast cancer in 1998.
Paul this week met publishers in London to discuss the project. He told friends: "I'm really up for it."
The book will contain hundreds of photos taken by Linda.
A source said: "Sir Paul is really excited."
A friend of Paul's added: "Times have been hard for him recently with the divorce from Heather.
"He's delighted he can focus his mind on something else.
"He sees this as a special tribute to Linda's memory."
