Twisted wreckage trapped a Boston public transit driver for hours Wednesday after two trolley cars collided in the north-eastern city, news reports said, the dpa reported.
The crash derailed two trolleys amidst rush hour. The one trolly was stopped at a red light when it was struck apparently from behind, leaving at least eight passengers injured and taken to hospital, The BostonChannel.com reported online.
Boston's mass transit system makes extensive use of above-ground light rail that move on separate tracks from vehicle traffic.
