Israel sealed off
the Gaza Strip on Thursday evening after a renewed rocket attack on an Israeli
target, media reports said.
Defence Minister Ehud Barack ordered all crossing points along the Palestinian
territory to remain closed on Friday, the reports said.
A home-made Kassem rocket fired by Palestinian militants landed in an Israeli
field on Thursday afternoon, but did not cause any injuries.
According to the Israeli military, it was the sixth missile attack since Israel
agreed to ease its blockade in accordance with a truce reached two weeks ago
with militant Palestinian groups in Gaza.
The border crossings were closed on Monday evening but reopened again on
Wednesday after an earlier Palestinian rocket attack, dpa reported.
