Prime Minister of Ukraine Calls upon Deputies of Pro-President Faction to Re-establish Their Participation in Democratic Coalition

Ukraine, Kiev, 3 September /corr. Trend Z.Novosvitski / The Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Tymoshenko, calls upon the deputies of the pro-president faction of Our Ukraine-People's Self-Defense Bloc to re-establish their participation in the democratic coalition, she said today in her television appeal with regards to the political situation in the Ukraine.

"I appeal to the colleagues and the companions of Our Ukraine: it is not time to destroy the last democratic barricades because the democratic coalition can and must exist. You have totally 10 days in order to without ultimatum, without provocations, simply quietly return to the democratic coalition," said Tymoshenko.

The pro-president faction of Our Ukraine left the parliamentary coalition with the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc (YTB) after yesterday together with the oppositional factions, YTB voted for the adoption of the law drafts, in which the authorities of the Head of Government are enlarged and the authorities of the President of the country are reduced.

The Prime Minister considers that the voting in Supreme Rada can not be reason for their leaving the coalition. "I sincerely hope for wisdom and sense of our colleagues on the democratic coalition. I believe that the work of the democratic coalition will be re-established," Tymoshenko stated.

Prime Minister also rejected the accusations of the President of Ukraine Victor Yushenko of the creation of a coalition between YTB and oppositional factions of Parliament, Communist Party of Ukraine and Party of Regions.
