Difficult for West not to Recognize Present Parliamentary Elections in Belarus: President
The President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko is convinced that it will be difficult for the observers and West not to recognize the present parliamentary elections in Belarus. Head of State expressed this opinion today, answering the questions of journalists in the polling station.In this case, Alexander Lukashenko emphasized: "We hold elections for ourselves, our people, and people decide".
Lukashenko also expressed opinion on the opposition. їThe political life of present Belarusian opposition is not long-lived,ї he saidHead of State said that a constructive opposition, which lives due to its political activity, but not due to the financing from abroad, is necessary for Belarus.
