President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has taken decisions on some personnel issues, BelTA was told in the president's press service.
Major-General Igor Glod has been appointed Deputy Head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Belarus, Colonel Alexander Poiko - Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Western Operational Command of the Armed Forces. Colonel Aleksei Zakharov will head the military security service department of the State Security Committee; Colonel Igor Busko will lead the KGB Chief Security Service Department.
Alexander Lukashenko signed the relevant decrees on October 28.
