AS Roma's Serie A troubles continued as Cicinho scored an own goal in the 90th minute to give Bologna a 1-1 draw on Saturday, CNN reported.

After losing four straight games in the league, Roma looked set to take three points and build on the momentum from a Champions League win over Chelsea until Cicinho dove to head in a cross from Bologna forward Marco Di Vaio.

Roma captain Francesco Totti had put the visitors ahead in the 68th, using expert control and an accurate shot from an angle that deflected in off the knee of Bologna goalkeeper Francesco Antonioli.

The game marked the debut for new Bologna coach Sinisa Mihajlovic.

The former Lazio player was hired on Monday to replace Daniele Arrigoni after Bologna lost 5-1 to Cagliari last weekend.

Roma remain just above the relegation zone with eight points, while Bologna are right behind with seven.

Roma goalkeeper Alexander Doni was carried off on a stretcher with a cut to his head after putting himself in the way of Marco Di Vaio in the 63rd.

Another Brazilian keeper, Arthur, replaced Doni.

Also on Saturday, Austria midfielder Juergen Saumel scored in the 89th minute for Torino to beat 10-man Palermo 1-0 and distance themselves from the relegation zone.

Saumel connected with a volley just outside the area for his first Serie A goal since joining Torino from Sturm Graz.

Palermo midfielder Antonio Nocerino was given a red card for elbowing Blerim Dzemaili in the face while going up for a header in the 83rd.

AC Milan will seek to defend their first Serie A lead in four years at Lecce on Sunday, while Inter Milan host Udinese, Napoli play Sampdoria and Juventus go to Chievo Verona.
