Two trucks collided in Mpumalanga city in the east of the Republic of South Africa, leaving 23 dead and nine injured, France Presse Agency quoted local police officers on 12 November.
"Two trucks turned over in a ditch. As a result, 23 people died at the scene of the incident and nine sustained injuries," the Agency quoted local police officers.
They specified that there were both drivers of the trucks among the dead.
The details of the accident have not yet been released. Investigation is underway, said RIA Novosti.
