US space agency NASA announced Sunday that it has postponed the planned landing of the space shuttle Endeavour for around an hour and a half due to inclement weather, dpa reported.

Storms and rain around NASA's Kennedy Space Centre have forced ground control not to aim for the previously scheduled arrival time of 1:19 pm (1819 GMT).

The shuttle is now set to arrive at the space centre in Florida shortly before 2000 GMT.
