Italy's Nadia Fanchini celebrated the first World Cup victory of her career Sunday when she took the women's super-G in Canada's Lake Louise, dpa reported.
The 22-year-old won in a time of 1 minute 20.97 seconds, followed by Switzerland's Fabienne Suter and Andrea Fischbacher of Austria, who shared second place after both registered a time of 1:21.25.
Anja Paerson of Sweden was fourth while overall World Cup champion Lindsey Vonn could manage no better than ninth.
