Moscow Evaluates US-Georgia Strategic Charter As Formal Document
Konstantin Kosachev, Chairman of the Russian State Duma Foreign Affairs Committee, assesses the US-Georgia Strategic Partnership Charter as a formal document.
Kosachev says in his interview with "Eco Moskvi" that the document is general and it is signed by representatives of Bush administration.
"The document does not determines Georgia's future relations with the US or with Russia, this (the Charter) is signed by the current authorities of Georgia and fleeting administration of the US," - Kosachev pointed out.
According to the Chairman of the Russian State Duma Foreign Affairs Committee Georgia's territorial integrity has been guaranteed by Russia until now, reported Prime-News.
