The UN General Assembly is to hold a special session on Thursday to discuss the ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip, a spokesman for the assembly president said on Wednesday, Xinhua reported.
"At the request of several member states, the president of the General Assembly is calling a General Assembly session tomorrow, Thursday, at 10 a.m. to discuss the issue of Gaza," Enrique Yeves, spokesman for Miguel d'Escoto Brockmann, president of the 63rd Session of the General Assembly, told reporters at UN Headquarters.
