Agreement was reached late Saturday in
negotiations over pay and other issues for 142,000 employees of Deutsche Bahn,
according to information from people close to the negotiations, dpa reported.
The agreement headed off strike actions. Sticking points included work
schedules in the fourth round of talks since Friday.
