Scuffles broke out between police and activists for Tibetan freedom during Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao's visit to London Sunday, dpa reported.

London police said five men were arrested at the protest outside the Chinese embassy. Police noted that pro-Chinese activists were present along with about 100 pro-Tibet activists. China has long opposed independence for Tibet.

Wen landed in London on Saturday for a three-day visit, which includes meetings with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and opposition leader David Cameron.
