New Zealand Prime Minister John Key condemned an attack Tuesday on the Sri Lankan cricket team in Pakistan as a "despicable terrorist act," saying all New Zealanders would be outraged by it.
"I am very concerned at this turn of events, where an international sports team has been targeted by terrorists," he said in a statement from his office in Wellington.
Key said he would be sending a message of condolence to the Sri Lankan government and the cricket team, reported dpa.
