A skirmish occurred between the ruling Justice and Development Party and opposition National Movement Party during the meeting related to the local municipal elections. The meeting took place in Mersin province, the Turkish Cihan news agency reported. Two people were injured. The injured Veli Ari and Kadir Oz were hospitalized.
