Lebanese Party of Hezbollah would be a great danger to the United States than the terrorist organization Al-Qaeda, U.S. former Minister of Internal Security Michael Shertof wrote in his book, Al-Hayat rteportwed.

Shertof believes that in contrast to Al Qaeda, the Lebanese Hezbollah, which is recognized as a terrorist in the United States is better prepared and equipped with weapons, and has a strong political position.

In his book, which will be published in September, Shertof believes that "Al Qaeda is a serious danger to the United States, but not in the long term, while Hezbollah, which is filled with over a quarter of a century, has the military capacity that Al Qaeda can only dream of".

He added that "Hezbollah is behind the bombings of American military base in Beirut in 1983, which resulted in the death of 200 soldiers, and in 1986, which left 20 killed. Shertof believes that despite the fact that Hezbollah does not hit on the United States from threats and attacks, the Lebanese party has a good base in South America, and is responsible for the bombings of buildings of Jewish organizations and Israeli embassies in Buenes Aires in the 1990s.
