Two bodies handed to British officials in Iraq were those of two Britons taken hostage in Baghdad in May 2007, a British government source said on Sunday, according to Reuters.
Forensic tests were carried out on the remains to identify the victims, British Foreign Secretary David Miliband said on Saturday. The dead hostages have not been named. They were among five Britons seized by a Shi'ite militant group from inside an Iraqi finance ministry building in a raid in Baghdad.
