The Washington Times journalist arrested in Iran

Journalst of U.S The Washington Times was arrested in Iran, Fars News reported with reference to Iran's ministry of culture foreign press head Mohsin Muggadaszadeh.

Arrested journalist is Greek, he said. 

Total number of arrested journalists hit 33 people in Iran from the day of mass protests in Tehran compared to results of presidential elections on June 12.

The strongest disorders during 30 years of Iran began after announcing of results of presidential elections.

One of candidates - reformer Mir-Hossein Mousavi lost the presidential elections and accused authorities in falsification of votes. He called people for actions of protest.

Representatives of several media outlets were exiled from Iran during this period. Access to some Internet websites was blocked.
