Over 100 new A/H1N1 flu cases confirmed in Europe

A total of 101 new A/H1N1 flu cases were reported in European countries within the last 24 hours, the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) said on Thursday, Xinhua reported.
  
France and Germany are the two main reporting countries, with 41 and 31 new cases respectively, while other new cases were reported from 9 other European countries, the ECDC said in its daily situation report.
  
The cumulative number of confirmed cases of the A/H1N1 flu virus in the EU (European Union) and EFTA (European Free Trade Association) countries increased to 4,947, with 3,254 cases in Britain, 541 in Spain, 333 in Germany, 191 in France and 112 in the Netherlands, the ECDC said.
  
The ECDC publishes a daily situation report about A/H1N1 flu cases in the EU and EFTA countries based on official information from these countries.
