Over thousand of Kazakhs in the last two days returned home from the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China, said an official of the Foreign Ministry of Kazakhstan Erzhan Ashikbayev, KazTag reported.
"More than thousand of Kazakhs returned," he said, commenting on the situation today.
According to him, most of returning people were provided the necessary assistance by the diplomats.
Meanwhile, a number of Kazakhs wished to stay, despite the difficulty. This indicates stabilization of the situation, Ashikbayev said. There is no death amongst Kazakhs, he said.
