Colombia confirmed 13 new cases of the A/H1N1 influenza on Wednesday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 138, Xinhua reported.
Five of the new cases were found in the capital Bogota, said the Social Protection Ministry.
The patients, including three children, have been put in quarantine, said the ministry, adding that seven of them had been to foreign countries.
So far, four deaths from the flu have been reported in Colombia.
There are currently 1,914 possible cases in the country, and the government has tightened control at hospitals and health centers to avoid large-scale contamination.
