Iranian president expresses his condolences due to Tu-154 crash

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has expressed his condolences to the relatives of the victims of the crash of the plane heading from Tehran to Yerevan and crashing near the Iranian city of Qazvin, Fars News reported.

The president has commissioned Iran's Ministry of Transport and other responsible parties to investigate and divulge the reasons of the crash as soon as possible.

A passenger aircraft crashed in the Iranian Qazvin city. According to Iran's television, there were 168 people on the board, including 15 crew members. The Mehr news agency reported there was a 10-member junior judo team who left for Yerevan for training on the board.

Iran's Caspian Airlines owned Tupolev aircraft. Flight number of aircraft Tehran-Yerevan was 7908.

Aircraft was fully wrecked. All passengers died, Qazvin City Police Chief, General Masud Jafari said, Mehr news agency said.
