Five people were killed and three others injured as a bus rammed into an auto-rickshaw on a highway in Bangladesh's eastern Comilla district, some 96 km away from capital city of Dhaka, Thursday morning, local police said.

Five people were killed and three others injured as a bus rammed into an auto-rickshaw on a highway in Bangladesh's eastern Comilla district, some 96 km away from capital city of Dhaka, Thursday morning, local police said, Xinhua reported.
  
Officer-In-Charge of local Chouddagram police station under Comilla district Abu Salam Chowdhury told Xinhua on Thursday that the inter-district bus hit the auto-rickshaw at around 9:45 a.m. local time, leaving three male passengers of the rickshaw dead on the spot.
  
He said a four-year old baby girl and the auto-rickshaw driver died at a hospital later on.
  
The other three injured of the auto-rickshaw were also admitted to the hospital where their condition was stated to be critical.
  
Bangladesh has one of the highest fatality rates for road accidents in the world, which kill more than 10,000 people every year.
