A footballer of Macao, China was confirmed to have infected with influenza A/H1N1, the 2009 East Asian Games media center told Xinhua on Sunday.
   The 2009 East Asian Games (Hong Kong) Limited made the announcement on Dec. 5 late last night that the athlete was confirmed to have contracted the disease on Saturday.
   The football player has sought treatment in the hospital. The player is in stable condition and has returned to Macao on Saturday night.
   The rest of the 21 players of Macao football team had sought medical consultation and no other members have any A/H1N1 flu symptoms. The team management will continue to pay attention to their health condition.
   The hotel, where the Macao, China football team is staying, has arranged cleaning and disinfection of its guest floor and public areas.
   The Macao, China team will continue to compete in the EAG football competition.
