A 70-year-old Australian celebrating his birthday Thursday with a skydive on Queensland's Gold Coast apparently had a heart attack and died, DPA reported.
A Department of Community Safety spokeswoman said the man died during a tandem jump at Kirra Beach.
"Our understanding is that he was involved in a sky dive and became unconscious on the way down," she said.
