Blast rocks diplomatic enclave in Afghan capital
A massive explosion rocked the diplomatic enclave of Kabul city on Tuesday, causing unknown casualties and damage to several cars and houses, a police official said, DPA reported.
The blast occurred near the Heetal hotel, which located in the Wazir Akbar Khan area that houses several embassies and international organizations, Abdul Matin, a police officer at the site of the attack told the German Press Agency dpa.
Reporting from site of the attack, Tolo, a private TV channel, said that at least 10 people were injured. It said that the attack took place near the residence of Ahmad Zia Massoud, a former first vice president, but he was unharmed.
