Almost half of Ukrainian citizens in Azerbaijan voted for Yanukovych

46 people of 110 citizens of Ukraine, who have voted in Azerbaijan, gave their votes for the leader of the opposition Party of Regions Viktor Yanukovych, the head of election commission Maria Saidova told Trend News.

46 people of 110 citizens of Ukraine, who have voted in Azerbaijan, gave their votes for the leader of the opposition Party of Regions Viktor Yanukovych, the head of election commission Maria Saidova told Trend .

The Incumbent President Viktor Yushchenko won 23 votes, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko - 17, Serhiy Tihipko, former CEO of the National Bank of Ukraine - 9, Volodymyr Lytvyn, parliamentary speaker - 4, Arseniy Yatsenyuk, former Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada - 4, Anatoliy Hrytsenko, member of Our Ukraine, former Minister of Defense - 1, Oleksandr Moroz, Socialist Party of Ukraine, former chairman of the Verkhovna Rada- 1, 4 persons voted against all the candidates.

The polling station number 3 was opened at 08:00 am and closed at 20:00 pm, the voting took place without violations, said in the embassy.

There were names of 221 people in the electoral list of Ukrainian citizens living in Azerbaijan, and 11 additional. 110 people have voted on Sunday.
