A mild earthquake measuring 4.7 in magnitude struck Haiti Sunday 20 miles west of the capital Port-au-Prince, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
The quake struck at 5:51 p.m. EST at a relatively shallow depth of 2.5 miles, the USGS said.
The agency had said in a preliminary estimate the quake was 5.5 in magnitude and at a depth of 20.5 miles, Reuters reported.
There were no immediate reports of damage from this quake.
