Arsenal go level at top after win over Burnley

Arsenal moved level on points with Chelsea at the top of the English Premier League on Saturday after they beat Burnley 3-1, dpa reported.

Cesc Fabregas, Theo Walcott and Andrey Arshavin scored the goals that moved them alongside their London rivals, one point clear of champions Manchester United.

United can go two points clear if they win at Wolves in Saturday's late game.

Arsenal could have gone top if they had won by a four-goal margin and Nicklas Bendtner squandered several chances to put the game way beyond Burnley.

Fabregas opened the scoring from close range but David Nugent equalized for Burnley and it took strikes by Walcott and Arshavin to seal the points for Arsenal.

Bolton won 2-1 at West Ham United in the day's other league match despite finishing the game with 10 men after the dismissal of Tamir Cohen for a second bookable offence.
