Baku will host the first congress of the Global Movement "Youth for Alliance of Civilizations" in October. This decision, as well as the concept of the Global Movement "Youth for Alliance of Civilizations" was adopted at the UN Third Forum Alliance of Civilizations held in Rio de Janeiro, the State Committee on Work with Religious Organizations said.
The forum was attended by representatives of 13- countries, international organizations, over 2,000 political leaders, civil society activists, and religious leaders. Azerbaijan was represented in the forum by the Chairman of the Azerbaijani State Committee on Work with Religious Organizations Hidayat Orujov.
The final document of the Forum reflects the agreement on joint cooperation to improve intercultural relations, achieve a lasting peace throughout the world.
