Paris Hilton reportedly arrested for drug use at World Cup game
US socialite Paris Hilton was arrested Friday for smoking marijuana at the World Cup quarter-final between Brazil and the Netherlands, The Times reported on its website, dpa reported.
A police spokesperson in South Africa refused to comment on the report "until the suspect is charged in court."
The report said that Hilton, 29, was arrested immediately after lighting up a joint in the VIP section of the game which the Netherlands won 2-1. Minutes before the arrest Hilton had posted pictures of herself posing with fans on her Twitter account.
Hilton served 45 days in jail in 2007 after violating probation stemming from a drunk driving charge.
