At least 12 people were killed and 90 others injured in a suicide blast which took place early Friday morning in Pakistan's northwest tribal area of Mohmand Agency, reported local English TV channel Express.

At least 12 people were killed and 90 others injured in a suicide blast which took place early Friday morning in Pakistan's northwest tribal area of Mohmand Agency, reported local English TV channel Express.
   
According to the report, the blast took place when an unknown miscreant tried to force into a political agent's office at a crowded bazaar named TehsilYakaghand and he detonated the bomb carried with him outside the office, Xinhua reported.
   
Police have cordoned the area and the injured people have been shifted to hospital in Peshawar, capital city of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in northwest Pakistan.
   
Rescue work is underway and more rescue people are being dispatched to the blast site.
   
Sources told Xinhua that electricity and telephone systems nearby the blast area have been destroyed. Several dozens of shops and vehicles at the bazaar have also been damaged.
   
No one has claimed the responsibility for the blast.
   
This is the third most serious suicide bomb attack occurred in the country in the past weeks.
