Magnitude 6.2 quake strikes Chile
A 6.2-magnitude earthquake hit Chile early on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
The tremor was reportedly registered some 78 kilometers (48 miles) to the north-east of the country's northern city of Calama. The quake's epicenter was some 91 kilometers (56 miles) underground, RIA Novosti reported.
There have been no reports on victims or damage.
