Jennifer Aniston gets restraining order against "delusional stalker"

Jennifer Aniston was granted a restraining order Tuesday against a stalker, described by her lawyers as "violent" and "delusional," who was arrested outside her Hollywood Hills home last week, dpa reported.

Jason Peyton, 24, was found on July 15 with a sharp object, a roll of duct tape and written messages about Aniston, according to court documents quoted by celebrity website TMZ.com.

Aniston's lawyers described Peyton as "an obsessed, mentally ill and delusional stalker - with a history of violence and criminal stalking - who drove cross-country in his delusional 'mission' to locate and marry (Aniston), with whom he believes he is in a relationship."

Police were alerted to his presence by Peyton's father.

According to the restraining order, Peyton must stay 100 yards (91 metres) away from Aniston's home, places of work and vehicles. Peyton must also stay clear of her employees, agents, managers and other reps.
